Matthew Phair is a New York-based writer and editor. He has authored literally hundreds of articles about the application, marketing and impact of technology in construction. Prior to launching his firm in 2001, he was Engineering News-Record (ENR) magazine’s Senior Technology Editor.
Matthew Phair has run a successful contracting firm in New York City. Over the past 20 years, he has also been an integral part of several software development teams as an analyst, writer and trainer. He studied computer science and civil engineering at Polytechnic University, and holds a B.A. in English cum laude from Queens College.
Mr. Phair is currently the Editor of Constructioneer, a bi-monthly regional construction magazine published by Reed Construction Data. He is also an information technology columnist for Reed Business Information’s Building Design & Construction magazine.
